There are many things to see and do in University City. Centennial Commons is a recreation center with activities for people of all ages. Festivities include human dog sled races, a temporary tattoo scavenger hunt, putt putt pub crawl, food, ice sculptures and so much more.
University City Schools
There are four elementary schools in University City and they are Jackson Park, Pershing, Flynn Park and Barbara C. Jordan. The name of the junior high is Brittany Woods Middle School and the high school is University City High School. The community recently voted for a bond increase to improve classrooms, equipment and school facilities.
