Brentwood Homes & Real Estate

Brentwood is a suburban community located just about ten miles west of the St Louis central business district, which makes it ideal for commuters and those that are looking to stay near the city.  The city has a population of around 8,000 residents, which makes it one of the smallest communities in the St Louis area.  See all the current Brentwood Real Estate listings below, or read more about living in Brentwood.

Brentwood Schools

For education, Brentwood is served largely by the Brentwood School District.  The school district operates two different elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school.  Students attending the middle and high schools are also drawn from a couple of the adjacent communities.  Brentwood’s school system is considered to be one of the best in the state.  In fact, Mark Twain Elementary School has received a Missouri Gold Star and has been named a Missouri School of Character, which are two of the highest recognitions provided by the state.

Beyond having a great educational system, the city also has many recreational options for residents to choose from.  The city is served by the Brentwood Parks and Recreation Department, which manages all of the community’s parks, hiking trails, ice arena, and community center.  The department also organizes several events each year, which bring out thousands of residents from Brentwood and nearby communities.  The department also organizes all of the recreational sports leagues, which are available for children of all ages through adults.
