The Fight For Air Climbs are stair climbing events that serve as signature fundraising for the American Lung Association. The events are held in tall skyscrapers with many stairs all over the country. Last year, the ALA held 44 Climb events in the US and more than 26,000 people participated in the fundraiser. Together they raised more than $7.4 million.
This year, a Climb will take place in St. Louis on March 30th at Metropolitan Square downtown.
Why Do a Fight For Air Climb?
Lung cancer is the number one cancer killer of both women and men in the US, and approximately two-thirds of people diagnosed with lung cancer have never smoked or are former smokers.
Each year, more lives are lost to lung cancer than any other cancer.
