The most popular park in Crestwood is Grantwood Village, which is located on land previously owned by Ulysses S Grant. The park is one of the largest wildlife reserves in the state and is the home to free roaming buffaloes, deer, zebras, and other animals.
The city also operates a very modern fitness center, aquatics center, and indoor basketball courts, which are available to all residents for a very affordable fee. Those that like to golf will also enjoy the public course, which is considered one of the best and most affordable public courses in the state.

The town of Crestwood is a part of the Lindbergh School District, which is one of the best districts in the county as several schools have been awarded Missouri’s highest levels of achievement. There are six schools in total in Crestwood, including a couple of elementary schools, a middle school, a high school, and two private schools that provide kindergarten classes through the twelfth grade.
